The summer has been hectic, stressful, challenging and altogether a nuisance but it has also been extremely rewarding in many ways. Being a part of the Glass Fellowship gave me a great deal of insight into the many sides of mural work. I'll post more about those later, along with some pictures hopefully.
More on fall to come when I catch up on sleep and assignments. I am probably going to have to quit Starbucks for this semester. I already reduced my hours but it would be sheer bliss to throw everything I have into illustration for once and not have to worry about a job for just a few months. That's really what I need. Perhaps that's one of the reasons I did so well in France, no distractions.
Anyway, here is the beginning of a long array of stuff from the summer. All done in moleskin sketchbook. Paintings are watercolour, ink, caran d'ache, pencil. My favourites are the drawings of Anna and Mathew.
