Before I post some of my latest work, I have an exciting venture I have been working on that is finally coming to fruition. Cup Of Twee was a name I came up for a fake tea company for a package design project in my undergraduate at Ringling. The project ended, but the name has stuck around. Several years ago I started making my own earrings out of antique-style and vintage earrings from my Gran's sewing collection, thrift store finds and even JoAnns. If any of you know me personally, you know my father, gran & aunt were all born in England and thus I grew up in a very British household. Teatime was really a daily part of my upbringing and my happiest memories revolve around playing in the garden amongst roses and trees. Now I am finally launching my etsy store with the name of none other than Cup Of Twee!!! A pun on the English word for decisively cute or quaint, Cup Of Twee combines art and tea in inspired earrings, pins, original artwork, limited edition artist prints, greeting cards, invitations and personalized stationary.
Thanks for all the support & encouragement, especially to my lovely Starbucks customers who have been nagging me to sell some earrings for months!
